After being on a convention Tina want'ed to introduce new drinks for her bar.
All include Cuba Caramel, Cuba Apricot or Passion. If you would like to read more on the drinks
click here: Hela Wine & Spirits ApS.
To advertise for them, she commisioned me to make a tablemat in A4 size.
As I'd just installed Microsoft Publisher, I used that program to make
it. I'll never use that program again! You'll have to look hard for a program
with so few options for im- and export of files. What else when you use a M$ Windoze
PeeCee product... To make this JPG picture I had to export the publication as HTML,
without any control over e.g. resolution/picture format...
Then, via disc and fat95 (a Win95/98 compatibel filesystem for Amiga), I could read
the page into the Amiga Browser AWeb-II 3.3. This browser can save the whole HTML page as an IFF-ILBM picture.
Then I used the program ImageFX 2.6 to scale and save the picture you see here.
ImageFX are btw. the only program I know of, that can save a picture in different
JPEG compressions, analyse the differences to the original, and finally display a
graph that represent quality loss against filesize.
Try to get Microsoft programs to do these things, I think you'll have a hard time
to find something similar...
Enough babl for now, to see the other side click
here. If your getting thirsty you'll have to
surf downtown to Privaten, Mariagervej 2, 8900 Randers.
